Pet Photo Upload Requirments

Whether it's a playful headshot or a full-body photo, choose an image that shows your pet's unique personality. If you'd like your pet's entire body included, our Photo Outline design is the perfect option. This larger, centre-placed embroidery is specifically designed to showcase full-length images.

Please note: Our Pet Portrait embroidery is designed to feature your pet's head or upper body only, even if you upload a full-length photo. This creates the cleanest and most detailed embroidered finish.

Can I uplaod more than one pet photo?

Want to include more than one pet? No problem! Simply upload a collage containing all the pets you'd like embroidered, or place your order and email us the additional photo(s) after checkout. We'll take care of the rest.

For the clearest and most striking embroidery, we recommend choosing contrasting thread and garment colours. This helps every detail of your custom design stand out beautifully.

As a general guide:

• Light-coloured garments look best with darker thread colours.
• Dark-coloured garments look best with lighter thread colours.

Every Photo Outline and Portrait order includes a complimentary design proof for your approval before we begin embroidery.

Once you've placed your order, our in-house artists will carefully hand-draw your design from the photo you uploaded. We'll then email you a preview showing how your embroidery will look before it goes into production.

If you'd like any adjustments, simply reply to the email with your requested changes. We'll refine your design until you're completely happy, ensuring your personalised piece is just right.

To keep your order on schedule, if we don't receive a response within 24 hours, we'll assume you're happy with the design and begin production using the proof provided. This helps us avoid unnecessary delays and ensures your order arrives as quickly as possible.

All of our sweatshirts and hoodies are made out of a heavy blend woven material with a soft fleece finish on the inside. The heavy blend material ensures that the garments are strong enough to hold the detail embroidery stitching. You can see the fabric combinations in each product description.

Heather grey refers to a soft, muted colour created by blending different tonal fibres into one yarn. This creates a salt and pepper style finish which is the seen on our light and dark grey products.  

Our adult sweatshirts, hoodies and T-shirts are unisex, making them a comfortable fit for everyone.

Our unisex sweatshirts and hoodies have a classic regular fit, perfect for everyday wear. Whether you prefer a more fitted look or an oversized style, simply size down or up to achieve your desired fit.

To help you choose the right size, we provide both men's chest measurements and approximate UK women's dress size equivalents. You'll find our full size guide on each product page and in the sizing chart below.

Every Sketch & Stitch piece is crafted to be loved for years to come. To keep your embroidery looking its very best, we recommend following these simple care instructions:

• Machine wash at 30°C or below.
• Always turn your garment inside out before washing to help protect both the embroidery and the fabric.
• Remove your garment promptly once the wash cycle has finished.
• Do not wring embroidered garments, as this can distort the stitching.
• If ironing is required, always iron on the reverse side of the garment. For added protection, place a clean cloth between the iron and the embroidery.

With the right care, your embroidered design will remain beautifully stitched, maintaining its quality and detail wear after wear.

All orders are sent out with Royal Mail, you will receive a shipping email with all the tracking information when the order has been dispatched from our studio. During busy periods of the year the lead time on production and delivery may be longer. Please pay attention to any updates regarding to delivery times when placing your order.

Unfortunately, some of our products and services are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once an order has been placed, these include:

• Anything that has been made to your specific requirements, is personalised or otherwise cannot be resold due to a bespoke element.
• Creative pieces that are specially commissioned when you place an order.
• Personal items sold with a hygiene seal (like facemasks) where the seal is broken.
• If you would like to cancel your order after placing it online, you may do so by emailing info@sketchstitch.co.uk. Provided it has not been automatically processed, which is normally within two hours of receipt, we will cancel your order and return your payment after deducting a fee of £9.99 to cover third party commissions and our administration. 

As each item is personalised especially for you, please take a moment to carefully check all names, dates, messages and spelling before placing your order. Your embroidery will be created exactly as the information you provide.

While we don't routinely proofread or correct personalisation details, if we notice an obvious error we'll always do our best to contact you before production begins.

To ensure our products remain respectful and appropriate, we reserve the right to decline any order containing wording or imagery that we consider offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate.

Please note that our embroidery software is designed to support characters from the Latin (English) alphabet. If you'd like to personalise your order using another language or alphabet, we'd be delighted to advise on what's possible—simply get in touch with us before placing your order.
